They have a half check joint to allow them to join together and be connected with a bolt. They also have a incorporated lifting loop for handling. Our first or last down are handed to allow the continuation of the joints and are sloped toward the traffic, standard units are 2.7 tonnes and can be landed from a crane mounted truck.
